Our role is to help you access markets and manage the operational complexity of moving gas across Europe. Your product, customer relationships and commercial decisions remain yours.

Where EEP acts as a counterparty for an agreed OTC transaction, that role and the applicable terms are agreed separately. Independence means being clear about whose interests we serve and the responsibilities we take on.

Respect for confidential information

Shipping involves sharing nominations, volumes, capacity requirements and other commercially sensitive information.

We treat that information as confidential and use it for the agreed services and applicable legal requirements. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we handle personal data.

Responsible market participation

Operating across European gas markets requires attention to the rules that apply in each market and to each activity.

We take market integrity seriously. Our approach is to understand the requirements relevant to our role, work within the agreed mandate and address compliance questions when they arise.

Care in biomethane administration

Physical gas movements, mass balance records and certificates each have a distinct role in the biomethane value chain.

Our mass balancing support helps customers manage the relevant operational records and documentation. The scope of that support, including responsibilities for certificates and sustainability information, is agreed for each engagement.
